Imagination Place

On Monday, Valerie and I took Carolyne and Sam on a little day trip. We met Brad for lunch at the Courtyard (soooo yummy!), and then we went to Imagination Place in Gadsden. The kids had so much fun! If you have never been, Imagination Place is a hands-on Children's Museum inside the Mary G. Hardin Center for Cultural Arts. It is set up like a little town complete with a Piggly Wiggly, doctor's office, bank, construction zones, vet's office, and so many others! Each space has dress up clothes for the children to really get in to "character". This was right up Carolyne and Sam's ally - they both love dress up clothes, and Sam is all about some hats!!

Who says a girl with a bow and smocked outfit on
can't get a little dirty??
Little construction workers!

Quite possibly the highlight of Sam's day -
they had a BUZZ LIGHTYEAR costume!
He was beside himself excited!!

Carolyne shopping at Piggly Wiggly.

Mommy's little fireman!

Up in the tree house!

They were so excited to "work" in the bank
just like daddy!
